Diwali
Diwali is the one of the most popular fastival in the world. It is celebrated on Amavasya, that is the 15th day ot the kartik month. Diwali is also known as Deepawali. Deepawali means an Array of Lamps. Diwali is associated with the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya, after his 14 years of exile and victory over the demon Ravana. On that day whole kingdom welcomed them by lightning rows of clay lamps.
Diwali ia an occasion in honor of Rama's victory over Ravana.
Celebratation of Diwali (Deepawali)
Many days before people starts preparation of Diwali by doing whitewash in their houses and decorate it with lightning, rangoli and candles and buy new clothes, gifts, Candles, Crackers, Sweets and many more. On diwali day people wears new clothes and worship Goddess Lakshmi to fill joy and happiness in their life and burn candles, Clay Lamps and distribute sweets to theirs neighbours and relatives and children fire crackers in the night.

Patakho ki bochar, Dhan ki barsaat,
Har pal har din Aapke liye laye Siwali ka tyohar.
